Our Values

The guiding principles that motivate our community and inspire our mission…

Responsibility

Entheogens are powerful and should be engaged with respectfully and sustainably, that is, responsibly. Through decriminalization and educational efforts, we believe the public can make informed choices regarding their use of entheogens, as they do with alcohol and cannabis. We also value the protection of threatened entheogenic species and respect the sovereignty of Indigenous peoples that have long served as stewards of plants central to their spiritual practice and identity.

Equitable Access

Entheogens provide opportunities for healing and personal growth. Decriminalization protects the right to access entheogens and allows for affordable and culturally-relevant approaches to emerge, which ensures equitable access to all communities.

Community Healing

We understand that individual and communal healing are inseparable and that entheogens have long been used traditionally in community to strengthen and heal the collective. The power of communal contexts can amplify healing, facilitate integration, complement individual-oriented approaches, and have the potential to rejuvenate relationships between communities and their environment.
