Community Meeting Tomorrow!

Dear REACH WA friends,

We are gearing up for our community meeting tomorrow at 6:30pm, only three short days away from daylight savings time and under two weeks from the start of Spring (not that anyone's counting...)

First step: Read the initiative. In preparation for tomorrow's meeting, we encourage you to grab a hot bevvy and read the document so that you are able to give us informed feedback (AKA, the best kind). We estimate it will take about 30 minutes to read through. All perspectives are welcome! Please leave your comments directly in the google document.

Quick Background: This initiative is our best effort at supporting a model of psychedelic access that promotes accessibility and responsible stewardship at the community level. In addition to decriminalization for personal use rights, it sets a standard of best practices and ethics codified as part of state law and it includes specific limitations to prevent extractive corporatization and exploitation. It does not attempt to regulate direct to consumer sales of entheogens but it does lower penalties for such activity. 

If you know of any organizations who may be interested in partnering with us or endorsing our vision, let us know! We are setting our sights on coalition building, fundraising, and political strategy.
